The Norwegian Center for Holocaust and Minority Studies, in partnership with colleagues at the University of Southern Denmark and the Nordic Africa Institute in Sweden, has established a project to study, among other things, the role that small nations can play in the prevention of genocide. The project is focusing particularly on the role such countries can play in the UN Security Council. The project is funded by the Joint Committee for Nordic Research Councils in the Humanities and Social Sciences (NOS-HS). This funding has been used to cover the costs of several seminars and an open conference. The project will conclude in 2023.
